Button Factory.

Yes, I am alive. Ok so it has been far to long since I've posted, but life really does get in the way sometimes. To fill you all in, I passed all my exams, I got into college and I'm moving out next week. eeeek. I'm going to be studying art and design for the year. Words cannot explain how excited I am.

However, that is no excuse for leaving my poor little blog idle for so long. Honestly when I did have free time I just couldn't write and I don't want to post any old rubbish. I want to like what I put up because if I don't, how can I expect anyone else to like it. I think I've found my blogging mojo again though and can't wait to get going.

Now on to more exciting things, It's Autumn! ( and yes I know it has technically been autumn for like a month already but it doesn't start until September for me). Autumn/Winter fashion is my favourite and I have to peel myself away from the computer to stop me from buying everything in the ''new in'' section of online stores. Help!

I did pick up one or two things the last day though from Primark (my complete weakness). Whenever I go there though there is always so many things I like but there's normally something wrong like the hem is too long or the buttons are ugly. These however, can be changed.

Got this dress and cardigan and thought wow those are ugly buttons. So I decided to replace them with nicer ones.

And wallah, Nicer clothing. It really doesn't take much to change the whole look of an item so remember that when you're out shopping. :)

I really hope you guys are doing amazing and if you have any posts where you have done a bit of a diy job with clothes link them below and I will be more than happy to read them.
Have a great weekend.

Long time no see.

First of all I would like to apologize for my serious lack of blogging. I have been working so much and just haven't had the time. Secondly, Helloo to all my new followers. Thank you so much and I promise I will try to post more regularly when I get time off work. I've been reading all your comments and looking at all your blogs too :)

So this week has been rough, to say the least. Had been working day in day out and finally when I almost reach my days off, I get sick. My Doctor told me I had tonsillitis and to stay in bed for a few days. Not fun. So instead of enjoying my time off I spent 4 days cooped up indoors like a living infection. However, I'm feeling ever so slightly better and found the energy to write as I didn't want to leave you guys hanging any longer.

I haven't really had the chance to do much shopping or to really leave my house but I did order a skirt from Topshop that came a few days ago aaand I also bought new shoes. ( I have an addiction)
My camera has been playing up a lot lately so my photos lack basic quality. I've been saving up for a new canon which I cannot wait to get my hands on. Expect far better posts when that happens. eeek.

I actually love this skirt. It has a cute faux leather waistband that goes well with the lace. After trying on the skirt I realised it came with pockets. Pockets! I love pockets. Their so handy when your out and about and don't want to have the hassle of tagging along a huge sack we like to call handbags. So yes, oddly enough, these pockets kinda made my day. I don't think i'm the only one this happens to though or am I?

Shirt: Primark
Skirt: Topshop
Shoes: Some random shop I came across
that I cannot remember the name of.

Enjoy your weekend :)

Newbies.

I recently ventured out to do a bit of shopping, mainly just for essentials but came upon this dress. I didn't think much of it first but decided to try it on anyway. People, if you are unsure about an item of clothing just try it on. Clothes were made for bodies and not hangers so they will look completely different on you. You may be pleasantly surprised. Has this ever happened to you?
This was the case with this dress. It's by a brand that i'm not overly familiar with called Selected but without even looking in the mirror I knew I needed to buy it. It is so comfortable on and the fabric is so light it's so easy to wear. The neckline is very flattering and the layers are sooo cute. Even though It is quite short This would come in handy if you wanted to wear it casually tucked into a pair of shorts or a shirt and some brogues, which I actually just got some new ones.yay. For a more dressy look I would throw on my pair of wedges I wore in one of my last posts and add some chunky jewelry. Hair possibly in a top knot or loose waves.
However, as much as I love this dress I did have one problem. The back of it is completely sheer. As in, not being able to come out of the dressing room wearing it because your underwear is 100 per cent visible, kind of sheer. I don't see why it wasn't just lined the whole way round but I sorted myself out with a little slip that goes perfectly under it so there was no love lost.Crisis averted.

I love how you can see all the scars on my knees in this picture. Falling came first nature to me when I was a kid.

Still having rubbish weather here apart from some sunny spells between showers.
:(

Let me know what you think,
Enjoy your weekend.
